LetsBrag Privacy Policy

LetsBrag is a career-tracking app for members of the U.S. Navy, Army, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force and Coast Guard. It is operated by LetsBrag LLC ("LetsBrag," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use LetsBrag at letsbrag.net or in our apps, how we use it, who receives it, and the choices you have.

LetsBrag is a private product. It is not an official product of, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security or any military branch.

Information you give us

• Account details: your email address and name.
• Profile details: branch, pay grade, job code (rating, MOS, AFSC or designator), unit, command, separation date and a short bio.
• Your career content: achievements and their descriptions, goals, key dates, awards, evaluation and award drafts (which can include names of raters and award recipients), career checklists, PME progress and saved phrases.
• Files you upload: evaluations, awards, certificates and other documents you add to your I Love Me Book, Career Docs or achievements.
• Achievement Logger conversations: what you type or dictate when you log an achievement through the chat feature.
• Feedback: anything you tell us when you cancel or contact us.

Information created when you use LetsBrag

• Subscription details: your plan, trial and billing status, and the customer and subscription IDs our payment providers give us. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Email records: which LetsBrag emails we have sent you and your email preferences.

What we do not collect

LetsBrag does not collect your location, advertising identifiers or contacts, and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Like any website, the companies that host LetsBrag and process payments can see your IP address and basic device information when you connect to them.

We use your information only to run LetsBrag for you:

• to store your career content and show it back to you on your devices;
• to generate AI-written suggestions when you ask for them (evaluation bullets, award write-ups, resume lines, checklists from your career documents, and achievement logging);
• to manage your account, free trial and subscription;
• to send you the emails described below;
• to answer you when you contact us, and to fix problems with the app;
• to prevent misuse, such as signing up for more than one free trial.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not use your content to train AI models.

We share information only with the service providers that make LetsBrag work, and only what each one needs. We do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

The AI features only run when you use them. Review every AI suggestion before you use it: AI can make mistakes, and you are responsible for what you submit.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our members or others, or as part of a sale or merger of LetsBrag LLC, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

LetsBrag uses a small amount of storage in your browser to work. None of it tracks you across other websites.

• Sign-in cookie: keeps you logged in.
• Preference settings: remember your theme and layout on that device.
• Offline copy: a copy of your achievements, goals, awards, key dates and document list so the app works without a signal. It is cleared when you log out.

If you use a shared or government computer, log out when you finish. Because we do not track you across sites, LetsBrag does not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

We send two kinds of email:

• Account and billing emails: sign-in and password resets, your trial start and end, renewals, and changes to your subscription. You receive these while you have an account because they concern your account and payments.
• Tips, reminders and news: onboarding tips, weekly check-ins, key-date reminders, milestone messages, the monthly Brag Sheet newsletter, and occasional messages if you have been away or cancelled.

You can turn off tips, reminders and news at any time with the unsubscribe link in each email or in your Profile email settings.

• While you have an account, we keep your information so it is there when you come back. Cancelling your subscription or letting your trial end does not delete anything. Your content stays saved but is hidden until you subscribe again, and you can still sign in to Profile to export your data, delete your account or change your email settings.
• When you delete your account (Profile → Delete Account), your subscription is cancelled, your career content and drafts are deleted, and your account record is deleted or cleared of everything except your email address. Your uploaded files and Achievement Logger chat history are disconnected from your account straight away, and we ask our hosting provider to delete them permanently. Your other deleted information is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Our hosting provider may keep backup copies for a limited time under its own retention policy.
• What we keep after deletion: your email address and a record that you used a free trial, so the trial can't be repeated, and the payment and transaction records we, Stripe or Apple must keep for tax, accounting and legal reasons.

The offline copy in your browser is erased when you delete your account or log out on that device.

Wherever you live, you can:

• See and correct your information in the app at any time.
• Download a copy of your data from Profile → Export My Data, even if your subscription has ended. For anything not included, email us.
• Delete your account and its information yourself from Profile → Delete Account, even if your subscription has ended, or by emailing us.
• Turn off tips, reminders and news emails.
• Cancel your subscription online at any time from Profile.

We respond to emailed requests within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address on your account. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights. Some U.S. states give residents additional privacy rights; we honor the requests above for every member regardless of state.

Your content is visible only to you when you are signed in. Uploaded files are kept in private storage and opened through links that expire. Information is encrypted in transit between your device and our servers. Only the LetsBrag owner has administrator access, used to run and support the service. No system is perfectly secure, and if we learn of a security incident that affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

LetsBrag is not approved for classified information or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Do not enter or upload classified information, operational details, or anything your command or branch restricts. Black out your Social Security number and other personal identifiers before uploading any evaluation, award or personnel document. You are responsible for following OPSEC and your branch's rules for what you store and share.

LetsBrag is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

If we make a significant change, we will email you or show a notice in the app before it takes effect, and update the effective date above.
